The rate of young people in the state of Colorado who age out of the foster care system has dropped by 24% from 2020 to 2024 - surpassing the goal of a 20% reduction set in The Collaboration's previous Strategic Plan , Awareness. The rate of young people in the state of Colorado who age out of the foster care system has long been an important measurement tool to understanding the barriers to young people living long and fulfilling lives.

The Colorado Center For Foster Care is the backbone organization of the Colorado aging out of foster care support collaboration. A statewide network of services and nonprofits.
